John Green is a Constitutional Lawyer, who currently serves as Chief Counsel and Chief Law Enforcement Advisor to the United States Bill of Rights Foundation.
John has 43 years of legal and law enforcement related experience. He began his career as a Texas Peace Officer in 1977, entering the Police Academy when he was only 18 years old. He has extensive experience in virtually all areas of Law Enforcement, including working in Detention, Patrol, Detective, Jail and Patrol Sergeant, and Licensed Peace Officer Instructor.
John earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice (with honors) from the University of Houston and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. He is an experienced Trial Lawyer, who concentrates on matters related to Liberty.
A sound money advocate, John believes many of the ills affecting our Liberty are the direct result of a corrupt monetary and tax system. His championing of Liberty for everyone is unwavering and stands on the premise of Smaller Government, Lower Taxes, and Individual Responsibility.
In 2018, John was elected to the Idaho House of Representatives to serve District 2B, in Kootenai County, Idaho. He was named one of only two State Representatives to receive a 100% “Conservative” rating from the American Conservative Union, in 2019.
John lives in North Idaho, with his wife of 41 years, Elizabeth. They have four children and ten grandchildren.
